ULV Foggers Overview
U.L.V. or ULD is an abbreviation
for the term Ultra Low Volume. This designation refers
to treating areas with relatively small amounts of chemicals
or formulations in an aerosol state.
Occasionally ULV FOGGERS are called
AEROSOL GENERATORS or COLD FOGGERS since no heating
of the formulation is neccessary.
The range of sizes for micron particles
or droplets created in a aerosol fog has been the subject
of considerable discussion and evaluation since ULV
Foggers entered the marketplace in the 1970's.
All London Fog - ULV Foggers will
meet or exceed the label requirements for application
of insecticides to control mosquitos, if label requirements
are adhered to and the fogger is adquately maintained.
The newest technclogy for use with
ULV foggers utilizes G.P.S. for Speed Compensation Flow
Control of insecticide. The Models 18-20 and XKE are
available with these advancements, including monitoring
and recording of adulticide applications and tracking
of vehicles. For additional information, please click
